Stopping by – Charlie the Bikemonger

I popped in to see Charge dealer and 29″ ambassador ‘Charlie The Bikemonger’ in Swanage on Saturday to say hello and to drop off my 2012 Cooker 29′ prototype that I’ve been riding a mix of kit on since last year.

He and his guy’s there are going to borrow it for some rigorous testing while most of the Charge team are in Taiwan and to get a feel before the bikes arrive in a few weeks time.

Charlie, in his own words, is a “purveyor of damned fine 29er, fixed & single speed bicycles” and I couldn’t argue with that. Amongst the normal stuff you’d expect to find in a bike shop were some cool looking fixed bikes and a seriously nice Salsa Spearfish, I may have to borrow that in exchange…

I also walked away with a very cool ‘Carlsberg’ style T-shirt stating that it was “probably the best bike shop in Swanage“, which indeed is highly possible…

Charge Cooker Mid & Hi 9′r bikes are available at Charlie’s shop from the end of November and they are available to pre order online here.
