Cycling Active – Filter Mid
Start of the week and another batch of new magazines have come through with some great press for Charge. Cycling Active have had a Filter Mid out on test and have given it a very nice write up.
"Pitched by it's creator as the ultimate urban warrior, it's actually a bit more. The Filter is a solid, steel framed road bike with full length metal mudguards and compact handlebars, making it perfect for commuting"
Check it out in the mag now.
“Back in the day”
"Back in the day" is a term I hear quite often from my colleagues Nick and Matt, I think Nick is refering to when he used to race mountainbikes to quite a high level when he was young (early 90's) and I'm pretty sure Matt, being a BMX racer, is refering to the 80's when brands like Skyway, JMC and Patterson (who!?) were prevalent. Anyway, here are some photo's of our Cyclo-cross team rider Jon Watson from "back in the day"
and a look at what Cyclocross used to be like a little further "back in the day"
Robs shiny chrome single speeder
Rob Dean was the winner of the Charge Bikes Set 2 Rise 12 hour enduro and as such recieved the only chrome Duster SS frame in existence as his prize!
