We would like to thank you for purchasing one of our bicycles; we work hard to ensure that we provide some of the best and most exciting bicycles in the world. We are sure that you will be satisfied with your choice, however if one of our products develops a fault within the warranty period, you should address the matter at the earliest possible opportunity with the retailer that you purchased the product from. Should they feel that the matter is of a warrantable nature, they will then take it up with us. Together, with the retailer, we will do all we can to sort it out within a reasonable timescale.
Your Charge Bike is offered with the following Limited Warranty. Frames. All Charge frames are guaranteed against manufacturing defect (defined as a defect in materials or workmanship) as delivered with the product for the following period from date of purchase: All Steel, Aluminium and Titanium frames are guaranteed for a total period of 5 years from date of purchase with the exception Blender and Scissor frames which are guaranteed for a total of 1 year from date of purchase. If a failure should occur due to faulty materials or workmanship as delivered with the product during the guarantee period, the frame will be replaced with the same or the nearest compatible frame available. Where a claim is deemed not to be warrantable, we will look to offer a reduced cost replacement option for the same or nearest compatible frameset. Paint. Original paint finish is covered for a total period of 1 year from the date of purchase. This excludes areas affected by cable rub and damage due to wear and tear or crash damage. Components. Your bicycle will come with parts that we have carefully selected from other manufacturers, and whilst they come on your Charge Bike, the warranty of these parts will fall under the warranty terms and conditions of the relevant brand/distributor. Normal Wear Parts. Defined as grips, inner tubes, tyres, cables, brake pads, chain, chain rings, sprockets, bearings and free-hub/bottom bracket parts have a 90-day limited warranty. Claims for these parts must be made within the 90-day period from original purchase date. All other parts not mentioned above are guaranteed against a defect in materials or workmanship for a period of 1 year from the original date of purchase, subject to the terms and conditions of this limited warranty. Please contact your authorised dealer for additional information on making a warranty claim. If a warrantable failure of a part should occur during the warranty period, the part will be repaired if possible, or replaced with direct or the nearest compatible replacement. Bicycle Warranty Claim: The complete bicycle must be returned to the dealer for inspection, the authorised dealer will liaise with the relevant regional distributor to make the necessary arrangements. Proof of purchase in the way of an original receipt must be provided with all claims.
This limited warranty is extended to the original purchaser only. Your bicycle must be assembled and a PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) performed by a trained mechanic at the authorised dealer from which the purchase was made in order to validate the limited warranty. Your unique frame number is located underneath the bottom bracket shell.
Any other claim not included in the above is void. This limited warranty does not cover paint damage, rust, failure arising from incompatible components fitted aftermarket or components that exceed the performance and/or intended purpose of the bicycle or failure arising from improper or no maintenance. This warranty does not apply to damage or failure due to accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, theft or act of God. Claims involving these issues will not be honoured. Please note: pressure washing of the bicycle and/or its components increases wear and therefore decreases the lifecycle of parts. Any claim due to a fault that is found to be a result of pressure washing will not be honoured.
