The rear derailleur changes gears on your bike and is properly adjusted when you receive your bike.  Over time, as you ride and enjoy your Charge bike, the rear derailleur may need to be adjusted so the gears shift properly and is noise-free.

 

 This video shows all the steps to adjust your rear derailleur.

 

Our batteries are removable, allowing you to recharge them at home, at work, or wherever there’s a power outlet. You’ll need at least some battery life in order to continue receiving electric assist, but thanks to our handlebar display, you’ll always be aware of how much power you have left.

For warranty claims on a new, never-ridden bike, Charge will cover all costs. For bikes within the one-year warranty period that have been ridden, Charge will replace the warrantied part at no charge. Any related labor costs are the responsibility of the customer.

All batteries used in Charge Bikes are water resistant and designed to be used for riding in wet conditions. However, batteries should never be submerged in water or stored in a humid environment. Please refer to the battery manuals from the manufacturer that came with your bike for complete use and care instructions.

Your Charge bike is equipped with a mixture of parts, many of which are standard bicycle components that can easily be purchased online or through your local bicycle retailer. That said, some parts are specific to your Charge bike.  If you have any questions, or aren't sure exactly what you need, contact our customer service team at (833) 482-3822 and we'll be happy to assist.

Touch-up paint is not available from Charge Bikes, but a number of good, commonly available options exist for covering the inevitable scratches and marks that come with regular use. Automotive paint is the best option for touch-up, and most auto supply stores can help you match the color of your bike. Model car paint is another popular option that for some is easier to source in small quantities, in a wide range of colors.
